Coast to Coast Custom Trucks & Trailers was founded in 2020 by Tyler Hagan. With Tyler’s expertise rooted in business operations, sales management, and product design, after constructing and designing his own mobile vending asset, Tyler realized that the building process was complex, disjointed, and in need of serious simplification. The turnkey design, construction and delivery process that resulted was Coast to Coast Custom Trucks & Trailers, a company purposefully crafted to help businesses go mobile, simply.

As the CEO & Founder of Coast to Coast Custom Trucks & Trailers, Tyler’s unique background in business management, & owning/operating his own food & beverage trailers & trucks, was the main catalyst & motivation behind building Coast to Coast from the ground up, with his experience on the ground running his own units. Tyler works closely w/ the design, construction, & delivery team to ensure that all clients receive a high-quality, reliable, and built to exact spec trailer or truck. In time away from running the company, Tyler enjoys sports such as tennis, soccer, & Formula 1 motor racing, along with spending time with family, & friends as often as possible.

With 10+ years of experience working in sales across multiple industries, Russ strives to put his customers first in everything he does. He has a passion for helping growing businesses and organizations build upon their success with eyes towards the future. As a native of Washington State, Russ loves skiing, golf, fishing, and just about anything outdoors. Fun fact, Russ spent seven years as a high school football coach.

Jorge is a Creative Director with 20+ years of experience, spanning web/digital design, video creation, promotional, advertising, branding, editorial, presentations, etc. His primary skill is to help the client identify and offer the very best visual solution for their project. He does this by doing the proper research, concepting, and then producing. Jorge always starts by looking at what competitors are doing, and try to surpass what they’ve done so the client is represented in the best way possible. His complementary skills are to meet every deadline, have an effective communication throughout the project, and maintain a positive attitude at all times. In his off time, Jorge rides his road bike in many organized long rides from 40 to 80 miles. On occasion, he plays chess against anyone that’s willing to enjoy a good match.

Carrie has multiple roles for our company. She is our Business Operations Manager as well as Sales Team Manager. With years of experience in sales, She is dedicated to providing the best experience for the customer as well as making sure they are completely satisfied with their product. Another major role she plays for the company is Delivery. Whenever a unit is complete, her and her team of drivers will make sure it is safely delivered to the client, and the client is knowledgeable on how to operate and run the unit. With many job titles, her main job is to ensure accuracy, customer care, and overall satisfaction to our clients.

PJ is an experienced account & client relations director, operating as the client relations lead for southwest clients. He comes from a marketing and creative background as a writer, director, producer of various film, TV, and commercial projects. He has also worked for advertising agencies building campaigns for large international industrial companies and now specializes in sales, creative, and business development for Coast to Coast. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and dog.

megan

Megan handles business development, lead generation management, and working closely with clients who have questions throughout the customer process. She also assists with towing & customer deliveries. Megan enjoys the outdoors, walking her dogs, and the quiet nature of southern Georgia. She has two wonderful children and enjoys helping others find the right fit for their needs.

HOW HAS YOUR EXPERIENCE AS A FOOD TRUCK OWNER HELPED INFORM THE MISSION OF COAST TO COAST CUSTOM TRUCKS & TRAILERS?

It was quite a learning curve when I obtained my first food truck. Throughout that time as a food truck owner it gave me the opportunity to learn what works, what doesn’t work, what the risks are, and how to reduce the overall opportunity cost and the financial burden in the mobile vending business. I came to the realization that the mobile vending process could be less complicated so I decided to start my own company. Everything that I learned working in the business from construction to customization helped create the fantastic business we have today. Whether the focus is daily sales operations, the food and beverage type being offered, construction, or customization we wanted to create a business around the improvement of all of those aspects.

First and foremost, make sure that you have your team in place and organized to ensure everyone is all in tune with one another. Storage, security, transportation, and preparation for daily operations is crucial for a profitable business. Delicious food and refreshing beverages are key for returning customers so make sure you’re selling quality products. Although our business is new our years of working in the mobile vending industry grants us the quality and fantastic service that you see in our work today.
